First West Credit Union has a history that dates back to 1946. It was established in its current form in 2010 with the merger of smaller credit unions. It operates under three brands: Envision Financial, Valley First and Enderby & District Financial. It is based in British Columbia and has 171,000 members. There are 1,300 employees and 39 branches. Banking services are available for personal and business clients. The range of products that are available includes chequing accounts, savings accounts, US dollar accounts, loans, mortgages and insurance. Investments in plans, mutual funds, stocks and bonds are also available.
