TD Canada Trust is a major Canadian Bank and is a subsidiary of the TD Bank Financial Group, a Canadian financial group that provides banking and wealth management products and services within Canada and the United States. 

TD Canada Trust, also branded as TD (Toronto-Dominion Bank) is a Canadian chartered bank which was formed from a merger in 1955 with a legacy from as far back as 1855.

It provides personal (individual) and small business banking services through its various platforms and channels which includes mobile and internet banking(Website in English and French) as well retail branch network, telephone centers and automated banking machines (ABMs). As at 2010 (2010 Annual Report), TD Canada Trust had more than 1,127 bank branch locations and 2,733 automated banking machines.

Its products for consumers for its short term and long term savings/investment products include savings accounts (standard savings accounts, high interest savings accounts, tax free savings accounts, TFSA) as well as money market, fixed income, term deposits and guaranteed investment certificates (GICs). The GIC products in particular have a number of different products available including US Dollar GICs (Cashable and Non Cashable), Canadian Dollar GICs, Market-Linked GICS, Market Growth GICs, Cashable GICs, Non-Cashable GICs (Short Term GICs and Long Term GICs).
